Hello everyone watching and/or participating in this group. I have a few things to put out, but don't feel obligated to read this. This is really just my way of answering questions I've been asked, or question I may be asked soon. Oh but please go to the bottom two paragraphs even if you don't read this whole thing.

1) Your picture hasn't been in the Featured section?

I'm very sorry, but as the group grows, I'm only displaying eight at a time. While I am trying to give a shove to the underdogs, and underrated characters etc. I still would like to put ones with the overall best composition up. Meaning, just because you aren't pikminlink (©...®...™...?) doesn't mean you won't be up there. But I'd rather not see a Cloud that looks like this: [link] with the picture taken in your bathroom with a cell phone camera. (Yes... that's me, it was a closet cosplay/joke shut up! >_<)

2) Not a contributor?

Don't worry about your contributor status, members have all the same rights anyway. I'm trying to invite anyone who HAS contributed to contributor, but if you are watching me, you'll know I'm more often raiding the wonderful cities of Japan. While I'm trying to moderate my own profile and this group from my cell phone...that's just kinda hard. And besides, I'm really trying to keep all members FF cosplayers, so really EVERYONE's a contributor.

3) Featured isn't being updated?

I have a few co-founders, but I'm really the one running the show. As I said before I'm working on it, but very busy... and it's hard to check all the submissions. If you believe that your art was overlooked and deserves a spotlight, leave a comment asking for appraisal, along with a link. I'll give it a(nother) look as long as your comment isn't "AY SCREWBALL! WHY THE #$%& ISN'T MY ART IN FEATURED?!"

4) Sexism?

No.  ...just no. XD I'm doing my best to be fair, but guys let's buckle down and admit, girls usually have us beat in both quantity and quality. USUALLY. (I'm going to give a shout out to amenokitarou cause he's currently the contributor I did a double-take on.) But with that fact, the ratio will often be something close to 5:3 female to male. While I'm going to TRY to display some males in there regularly, that sometimes just won't be possible.

5) Five?

Five.

6) Showing favouritism?

I'm trying my hardest not to, but with all things, human opinion is pretty much going to be factored in. What I mean by this is that I won't pick Featured based on game or character. While FFVIII is most definitely the better of the games, I won't focus the featured on the few that ever come in (XD just kidding) Same goes in reverse. Example: just because I cosplay Cloud, doesn't mean I'm going to be blocking out Clouds. For all I want to kill Kaname and take his cosplay, if he posted anything on here, I'd probably wind up Featuring it T.T

Now the one issue I forgot to put out: While I will not be showing favouritism among the actual content of the art, I will not be promoting yaoi, yuri, or sexuality. If the picture can be seen as either yaoi/yuri OR just friendly, based on perspective, then it still has a shot at being Featured. I have quite a few many yaoi faves, solely because they can be translated otherwise. Hinting, and humour-based yaoi is okay, but I am discouraging submissions of other than heterosexual nature, because most FF characters are straight. I apologize to any actual homosexuals who are offended by this. As for sexuality, they will not be Featured. Depending on the content, it may be accepted into the albums. If it is indeed artistic, I will create a mature folder and accept it, while separating it from the rest. However mindless nudity, language or implications (comics, etc.) without any real point will be deleted right away.

ANYWHO~! That about wraps it up. I don't think I forgot anything, but feel free to ask any questions via comment, note, etc.

And I will be adding this insert to the information on the front page.

Oh two quick things: 1) If you want to help scout members, or organize featured and folders, let me know and I'll give you a quick interview via note/IM. As long as you're serious about it, ambitious, and don't have the brain of a chimpanzee I doubt I'll say no.

2) Since you're OBVIOUSLY interested in Square Enix enough to spend time making a costume of one of their characters, you can go to my journal that will be up in a few hours. It's going to have pictures and videos of the Square Enix Character Goods Shop... It was amazing... tiny... but amazing.

I've read it through and any questions that I didn't even have yet are answered so.. Yay!
I've already written a journal about your group and left a link encouraging people to drop by and check this place out.
You might not get any more cosplayers from my efforts (cause most of them that I know are already here) but I'm sure you'll get a few more watchers.
For being just up and running its going pretty damn smooth. So congrats and amazing job on the upkeep so far!

Very good and throurough, ~Strifehart :) I agree too about the promotion of the small guys. ^^ There's so many out there that I've found to be WAY under viewed. I wrote a journal to spread the news, but I'll also start inviting peoples.

8D SquareEnix shop? I'll go read your other journal now...

Alas I have used my powers for evil =_= I did a little shameless plugging in the group journal. But hey they ARE fans of FF after all. XD

Yeah like advertising.... more accurately spamming. That's what the phrase shameless plug means
